Red Hook
Erie Basin, Red Hook, III: July 28, 2003
102 × 168 inches (260 × 427 cm)

After the industry that once kept Red Hook alive slowed to a halt, I photographed the Erie Basin, the site of a formerly thriving commercial enterprise that has since been erased by technological and commercial developments. This body of work questions just how long something can remain constant before time or something new comes along to erase it.
